The Washington School-Based Health Alliance is hosting a webinar this week Thursday, May 13:
Resilience in School Environments (RISE)
Session description: School-based health centers (SBHCs) have an important and recognized role in supporting the health and well-being of individual school staff and students. SBHCs can also play an important role in creating a more comprehensive safe and supportive school climate. Kaiser Permanente’s Resilience in School Environments (RISE) initiative provides a suite of easily accessible resources, at no cost, for school leadership, staff and the broader school community to address underlying factors and develop strategies and practices that foster positive school environments. SBHC staff can access these resources, including a comprehensive approach for staff well-being, for SBHC use and for sharing with school partners. Our presenter will walk participants through these resources online and facilitate conversation on these topics.
Presenter: Jill Patnode, Thriving Schools Program Manager, Kaiser Permanente of WA
When: Thursday, May 13, 1-2pm PST
