The Washington Association for Community Health is looking for school-based health centers that we can celebrate!
Do you know of a school-based health center that has had success in increasing access and affordability?
Maybe they implemented a great new program, or streamlined their workflow, or established partnerships with other social service providers. Or maybe they have a great way for involving students and families in programming and service planning, or for developing trusting, comfortable relationships between providers and students. We are looking for any success, big or small!
The Association is developing a series of “promising practices” reports that highlight the good work being done by our member health centers. These reports will be used to help all of our member health centers maximize the impact and reach of their services – and they help tell the story of community health centers to potential funders, patients, and other supporters.
School-based health centers that are interested in being featured in a report will be asked to participate in an interview so that we can get to know them and their success story. The Association will then write and design a written report that will be shared widely across community health centers in Washington state. The featured school-based health center will have approval authority before the report is released.
