The Washington School-Based Health Alliance invests in and supports the health and academic success of youth in Washington State by advocating for policy, creating community and stakeholder support, and building capacity within the field to promote and sustain school-based health care services.

Our Mission

We advance and advocate for school-based health care, working with communities and partners to achieve equity in health and educational opportunity for children and youth statewide.

Our Goals

  • Leadership. Provide strong leadership for the school-based health center (SBHC) movement in Washington state.
  • Policy. Build local, statewide and national policy support for school-based health care, expanding opportunities for SBHCs in our state.
  • Capacity-building.  Build capacity in school-based health care in Washington by providing resources, technical assistance, and opportunities for learning and networking.
  • Communication and stakeholder engagement.  Develop and strengthen a statewide network in school-based health care by engaging an active, diverse base of community stakeholders.
