Medicaid School District Feedback Survey

Graphic for "News" blog post type

The Health Care Authority (HCA) is conducting a survey about existing Medicaid School Based Services (SBS) programs. Their vendor, ForHealth Consulting at the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School, will use the survey results to inform initial recommendations to improve SBS in Washington State. The survey will ask for ideas and recommendations to improve SBS Medicaid reimbursement opportunities and reduce administrative burdens. The survey takes 15-20 minutes to complete. At the end of the survey, respondents will be asked for their contact information (optional), if they’re interested in participating in a live feedback session, and if they are willing to be contacted individually with follow-up questions. Staff involved with the School Based Health Care Services (SBHS) program, School Medicaid Administrative Claiming (MAC) program, or contracting with Managed Care Organizations (MCO) to receive reimbursement are encouraged to provide input on the Medicaid program by completing the survey. Anyone with interest in SBS is welcome to respond to the survey, and there is no limit to the number of individuals from each district who can respond.

We kindly ask for your help in sharing this information with folks you know that are working in relevant positions are schools/districts. The survey will remain open until April 30.
