Our school-based health centers provide a full array of primary health care to students in the high school. This includes care when ill, medications, laboratory tests, immunizations, sports physicals and reproductive health care. The clinic coordinator is the pivotal administrative team member in promoting the clinic, enrolling students, maintaining the electronic medical record, supporting both health care providers and keeping the health team connected with the Seattle Public School team.
Public Health wants you to join our team at the Ingraham High School Teen Health Center as a Clinic Coordinator (Health Program Assistant I). Your team includes a Behavioral Health Specialist and Nurse Practitioner who work with you and the school nurse to meet the health needs of the Ingraham High School student body.
The Clinic Coordinator is often the first contact students have with the Wellness Center and is the face of the clinic to the school. The successful candidate will have ability to engage students from a variety of cultures, excellent communication skills, strong organizational skill and the ability to work independently while developing and maintaining relationships with school staff and community partners.
Temporary opportunity. Term-Limited Temporary positions are “at-will” positions but are eligible for benefits. This TLT is currently anticipated to last 6/2025. However, funding sources for this work remain uncertain and dependent upon decisions actively being made at both the federal and local levels. As a result, the end date of this position may be adjusted based on those decisions. The County and the Department continue to work to secure long term funding sources.
