The Mental Health Clinical Manager works in partnership and shared accountability with the School-based Health program’s Lead Team to develop and guide program direction and priorities, and achieve Neighborcare Health’s goals and follow its mission and guiding principles.  This position may also maintain a clinical practice and provides prevention and intervention with a variety of therapeutic techniques, including evidence-based practices. Vashon High School:

Provide mental health services within the school-based health center Mental Health Scope of Services. Focus on the full spectrum of care, from promoting healthy development and preventing problems, to long-term intervention and support for students unable to obtain adequate mental health care from other organizations or in a non-school context. Position emphasis is on asset- and strengths-building; symptom reduction; increasing, stabilizing, and maintaining functioning; and on individual, family, and group modalities.

Eligible candidates for this position will hold an active Mental Health Provider license.

This position is located at Vashon Island High School. The position is Part-Time (16 hours) 2 days per week 7:30am-4pm.

West Seattle Elementary School:

School-based Mental Health Therapists provide prevention and intervention with a variety of therapeutic techniques, including evidence-based practices. Services are provided at the school or in certain circumstances, via telehealth. Therapists work in partnership and joint accountability with other team members toward Neighborcare’s Mission, and to ensure Neighborcare achieves goals for productivity, patient satisfaction, quality care, and contract compliance. Provide mental health services within the school-based health center Mental Health Scope of Services. Focus on the full spectrum of care, from promoting healthy development and preventing problems, to long-term intervention and support for students unable to obtain adequate mental health care from other organizations or in a non-school context. Position emphasis is on asset- and strengths-building; symptom reduction; increasing, stabilizing, and maintaining functioning; and on individual, family, and group modalities.

Eligible candidates for this position will hold an active LICSW, LMFT, LMHC or Clinical Psychologist license.

This positions is located at West Seattle Elementary School and is part-time (24 hours) 3 days per week.

Mercer Middle School

Neighborcare Health is hiring a Licensed School-Based Mental Health Therapist!

Provide mental health services within the school-based health center Mental Health Scope of Services. Focus on the full spectrum of care, from promoting healthy development and preventing problems, to long-term intervention and support for students unable to obtain adequate mental health care from other organizations or in a non-school context. Position emphasis is on asset- and strengths-building; symptom reduction; increasing, stabilizing, and maintaining functioning; and on individual, family, and group modalities.

Eligible candidates for this position will hold an active LICSW, LMFT, LMHC or Clinical Psychologist license.

This position is located at Mercer Middle School and is Full-Time 32 hours per week. The weekly schedule will follow 4 days per week 8am-4:30pm.
